New study says a good education postively affects lifespan.
Researchers in Sweden have discovered that a good education positively influences the average lifespan for individuals and their spouses. Women with no post-secondary education have a 53% higher risk of dying early than university graduates. Spouses of uneducated women are 25% more likely to die early. Reasons for the higher life expectancy may include a healthier diet and better access to quality health care.
